Some days I feel like the small snail that wandered from my fridge this morning, from deep within the home-grown veggies my Dad so beautifully left in my fridge a few days ago. As I drunk my tea the snail and I enjoyed a moment. Together. Slowly, achingly, he inched his way forwards, occasionally pausing to hide in his protective shell when I came too close. Yes, at times when the threats came too close I have crawled into my protective shell for a little quietness. On other days, I feel strangely determined and inch my way forward through the uncertainty.

It has taken a long time to get back here, but it is so, so great to be behind the microphone again. I begin with a small apology. I have found it hard to find the creative and emotional space for the podcast. Not only does it require great presence to be able to sit quietly and engage deeply with another individual’s story, but I have also been inundated with support after releasing all my training planners for free this month. We have had over 6000 downloads and still they continue… wow and a massive THANKS! Furthermore, my own house has been on fire. Our business is dramatically affected, and our house, our Team’s wellbeing and livelihoods, our own uncertain future… it is all tied up on ensuring that Find Your Feet remains a strong, viable entity.
This leads into the conversation today which is a ‘Hanny ramble’ about the stress response, and what I am doing to combat this as best I can. It is also an introduction to my new book which will hopefully arrive into our online Find Your Feet store, as well as all major eBook distributors, such as Amazon & Kindle, in the first few weeks of May. In this podcast episode I share with you just a couple of small snippets from the book, some teasers if you like, and I hope that you enjoy them.
